The Arne Jacobsen Swan Chair in Fabric. Arne Jacobsen’s work remains appealing and fresh today, combining free-form sculptural shapes with the traditional attributes of Scandinavian design, material and structural integrity. The Swan is a chair designed by Jacobsen in 1958 for the Radisson SAS hotel in Copenhagen. The Swan chair is the result of Jacobsen's search for a curved fluid form which required minimum padding and was lightweight without losing the comfort.
